Meet Our KID-Laborators!

To develop the ABSLTLY AMZNG ANMLS in Salt Lake City, Dallas Graham reached out to our friends at Mascot Miracles to find five KID-Laborators. Together, we created the basic forms of their animals in a very special WRKSHP, where we talked about art, animals, why they matter, why they’re silly, and what kind of fun we could create—and instill—throughout our city.

Meet the Salt Lake City Team

ABSLTLY AMZNG ANMLS would not be possible without our amazing team & community volunteers!

  • I am a dynamic creative leader with a background and a passion for transforming public space through the arts. As part of The Blocks Arts District team in Salt Lake City, my role is to curate programs, forge partnerships, and create visibility for artists.

I served as a key advisor for Absolutely Amazing Animals, helping to guide its integration from inception through the Co-Create program, and elevating its playful mission to engage the community in imaginary storytelling through public art.

My favorite animals are my dogs; because who isn’t happy when cute puppies are around?

  • I grew up weaving art and music into every part of my life. I’m passionate about supporting artists and strengthening creative communities. I develop and grow initiatives that amplify the arts, build lasting impact, and enrich the vibrancy of downtown Salt Lake City as the Program Manager for The Blocks Arts District.

I played a key role in bringing the vision of Absltly Amzng Anmls to life through fostering deep community connections and helping to shape its story—as a way to build creative expression through public art.

My favorite animal has been a horse since I could walk—or ride! There's really nothing better than an afternoon up in the mountains on the back of a horse.

  • I am a versatile creator and have a passion for closing problem gaps and connecting people. I take pride in leaving this world better than they found it.

My background is in custom furniture building, casework design & fabrication, & project management. I've been Dallas' right hand, consulting with him and helping ensure all of the ANMLS are filled with magic-sauce.

My favorite animals are DOGS. They bring so much joy to peoples' lives. One of my favorite pass times is to go on off-leash walks and meet all the babies! Dogs make the world a better place.

  • I'm the owner of Franklin Woodworking in the Granary District SLC and I'm consulting on construction and material sourcing, as well as cutting the ANML components with my CNC machine.

My favorite Utah animal is the Golden Eagle. The moment I locked eyes with one as it soared over my head up high on a rock climb in Little Cottonwood Canyon imprinted upon me their ferocity and poise.

  • I support ABSTLY AMZNG ANMLS with budgeting and data analytics, helping turn raw numbers into insights that guide the story, growth, and increased audience engagement. I love using data to tell compelling stories that make an impact.

My favorite animal is the Utah Red Fox - they are clever, resourceful, and a skilled scavenger. They also remind me of my dog, Ruby the Red Heeler, who shares the same fiery coat and sharp instincts. Both are quick thinkers, highly adaptable, and full of personality.

  • I have been supporting ABSTLY AMZNG ANMLS through building out the website with Dallas. I have also loved bringing my daughter to volunteer and help paint the base coats for the ANMLS. (We were able to help paint SKUNDOR and it was a memorable time with her.)

I have really enjoyed being part of the team and seeing the ABSLTLY AMZNG ANMLS come to life!

  • I live with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (or O.I. for short)—also known as Brittle Bones. My bones break, on average, once a month—usually a long bone or a rib. I’ve been through a dozen surgeries to place rods in his legs and arms— to both straighten and strengthen his bones.

My biggest goal right now is to serve a service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Then, attend an online college.

I love chocolate doughnuts and playing with—and collecting—Legos. I also enjoys speaking with people about how to be happy and promoting my new book: Best Day Ever!
